It is a beautiful frame in smooth black that looks and feels like real leather. Please see the photos. The best thing about this frame is that it is really solid unlike a cheap faux leather frames out there. I paid 379.99 for it and it has been worth every peny. Please see how solid the supporting slats are and note the extra legs on the metal frame in the middle! The frame feels really solid and has been a really great buy. Another thing I like about the bed is a tall headboard making it ideal for sitting up in while you reading a book or checking your facebook. :) I am selling it very relactantly, but I canot take it with me it deserves to go to a good home and it is sure to look fantastic in any bedroom. I ahve bought all of these over the last year but as we are changing our colour scheme i need to get rid...they are too nice for the carboot/charity bin!!
